Crowne Plaza Changi Airport Asset Enhancement Initiative (AEI)
Park + Associates was commissioned to refurbish key areas of Crowne Plaza Changi Airport, including guest rooms, meeting and board rooms, gym, lounge, and the all-day dining venue, Allora. The design concept was crafted to bring a tranquil oceanic atmosphere to the space, drawing inspiration from the rhythmic patterns of waves and the calming essence of nature.
The refurbished rooms and meeting spaces feature soft curves in wall treatments that mirror the natural flow of water, evoking a sense of natural flow and serenity. A carefully curated palette of beachy neutrals and oceanic blues, accented with vibrant navy and yellow tones, brings a refreshing and contemporary feel to the interiors. Furniture crafted from natural wood finishes adds warmth and texture, while light grey sofas and sky-blue headboards serve as focal points that reinforce the calming theme.
Meeting and board rooms were reimagined to support both productivity and relaxation, integrating organic forms and soothing tones. The gym and lounge continue this narrative, offering guests a cohesive experience that blends wellness with aesthetic comfort.
Allora, the hotel’s Italian all-day dining venue, complements the overall design story with its spatial journey through Italy—from Milan’s cosmopolitan energy to Tuscany’s rolling hills and the vibrant Southern coast. The restaurant features three distinct zones—Lounge, Dining Room, and Alfresco—each offering a differentiated yet cohesive experience, while respecting the existing architectural flow.
This refurbishment reflects Park + Associates’ commitment to human-centric design, enhancing the guest experience through a harmonious blend of nature, culture, and modernity.
