Parc Komo
Parc Komo is a mixed-use development composed of predominantly residential apartments integrated with commercial shops and restaurants. Set in the East side of Singapore, the design sought to encapsulate and accentuate the laid-back charm of its locale.
The development is envisaged as a community with a contemporary offering of slow living, stemmed from a created sense of urban retreat surrounded by plentiful greenery. Spaces of arrival and journey were carefully organised, as serial visions key to the serene experience for a more mindful everyday life. Formally, the blocks were designed to create visual texture through its seemingly randomised volumes, as a means to break down and avoid the mass of typically repetitive unit layouts.
