Coralis

Singapore | Completed

The design aims at a sense of whiteness and cleanliness with an interplay of light and shadow; verticality and horizontality. Bay window, balcony and planter box becomes the expressional elements not merely from pragmatic spatial planning point of view. The juxtaposition of these three dominant architectonic features forms the overall contemporary language while the clear distinction of each element visually and indirectly increases the ‘verticality’ impact of the tower. In this case, the color superimposition of white, grey and earthy brown further enhances the layering effect of the building envelope.
